Are you a LEO? I’m a LEO! With LEO rising! However, I was born on the cusp of Cancer/Leo and have some Cancer tendencies – most notably holing up and seeking little hermit-type spaces for contemplation.
For the first part of my life I was more influenced by my Cancer nature. At 16 I got tired of being soooooo terribly shy, so I did something to get out of that shyness – I became a waitress at a busy restaurant in Westwood, CA! I had to approach people and TALK to them, which was very scary!!!! It was a huge step for me, but worked out. I let go of a lot of insecurity and shyness and got a bit bolder in my life.
Shy? Start waitressing! Or do some thing where you HAVE to engage. It’s a great way to show people your bold, beautiful self.
Most people see me as pretty outgoing, but, even tho’ I embody that LEO persona in the forefront, I still seek quiet spaces and can easily get into “hermit mode” – I like my “Cancer” solitude. Doing The Bath Tub Diva blog is great for my Cancer side because it lets me think, contemplate and write, and my LEO side loves it because I get to be “out there” and share my ideas.
Since it’s my birthday month, I’m going to say that my favorite bath is the Rose and Coconut Bath Recipe – this is the one that I would want to celebrate my birthday in!
The only change to this bath that I’d recommend is the addition of Peppermint Essential Oil, because that totally perks up any bath and makes you feel all nice and alert and happily feisty.
Leo’s also love being pampered which is why I love the Rose & Coconut bath – because you feel so taken care of and loved in this bath.
Here’s the Rose & Coconut Bath Recipe with Peppermint added to it.
This is one of my MOST FAVORITE bath recipes! It smells fabulous and will leave your skin super hydrated and supple. Makes you feel luxurious and pampered too. Don’t forget to light a candle – coconut or rose scented would be a good choice, don’t you think?
- Epsom Salts – 2 cups
- Rose Oil – coupla big squirts < this is NOT an essence! This is oil with Rose fragrance.
- Coconut Oil – 1 to 2 spoonfuls
- Bubbles – of course!
- Peppermint Oil– 5 drops to start. Then get in the tub and add a drop at a time until it feels right. Do not overdo Peppermint Oil! You can ruin a bath by putting too much in. Start with just 5 or less drops.
